Gilon Gilon Slide Show
The Dagupan City Bangus Festival featured one of its much-awaited events to today April 23, 2010 (Manila Time), that is, the Gilon Gilon ed Dalan which means Harvesting Fish Street Dancing. Gilon Gilon ed Dalan lured 31 barangays or villages and few educational institutions as they will compete with each other showcasing colorful, creative and dazzling costumes and intricate dance steps depicting the fishing industry of the city.

Dagupan City Bangus Festival Opening Ceremony
The Dagupan City prides it self once again as it formally signals the opening of the Dagupan Bangus Festival with host of great festivities that attracted tens of thousands of spectators from all walks of life. The opening ceremony was highlighted by one of the most fast-rising celebrity in the country who happens to be the elegant and stunning Erich Gonzales who gave a well-applauded song number.
Gonzales was also given warm reception during the float parade. The main star in the popular primetime soap opera show, and child star of ABS-CBN’s Santino, Zaijan Jaravilla was not to be outdone as he charm all the people aboard his float to give cheers to the people waiting to see him in flesh. Overall the ceremony was a success since many funfilled activities were dished out to the delight of the spectators that were present.
