well talagang ganyan tataas ang kuryente kasi nkdepende ang power plant sa oil... eh kung renewable power ang gamitin like solar power, wind turbines edi maganda safe sa enviroment at sa atin pa... like some parts of country here in new zealand or other part of the world private individuals are making money of this resources. they are selling power ... See Moreback to the power companies because they are producing more power than they consume... d ba maganda and 1 place in germany they produce themselves power out this renewable resources. kita nyo may hot water pa sila at heater sa winter libre sila kuryente ito ay isang intiative ng isang mayor ng germany. so sa mga pulitiko start a project without a kickback to yourself naman tama na corruption at interest sa sarili. intindihin ang kapakanan ng bayan...

tutal mainit namn, sana maiconvert nila ung heat into energy sayang din kase ung solar energy kung hindi natin mapakinabangan.. tama ba ako?

See thread @ Dagupan City People Page@Tessa: That's a good thing to do, may we talk about it with all the candidates active in this forum. Invite some, if you can.
@Jun em: Not bad. My electric bill is more encouraging, 2k is good enough for my energy maintenance.
To TITUS and all the other candidates:... See More
What would be your meaningful proposal to minimize the cost of our energy consumption?

yeah good for all people can manage their power consumption. in fact the price of power i will not come down it will more go up up and up... and oil is running out... what will the govt will do??? build again damn, i mean dam babaha naman more destruction to livelihood and lives. if we produce more power and cheap maybe we can attract more investors then more jobs.

@Michael - dams, my friends are built as an alternative and renewable source of energy, to provide irrigation, and to prevent flood (yes, believe it or not). d most devastating flood dat occurred during d onslaught of typhoon pepeng in pangasinan was not to be blamed to d dam itself but to its mismanagement by personnel of both d san roque multi-... See Morepurpose dam cooperative and d napocor. my prior statement was based on d result of congressional investigation on d matter. lemme just qualify dat dams, when properly managed, are not bad per se. sadly, d same could not be said on d san roque dam for it is too recent to forget dat recently, it failed to prevent d destructive flooding, and it is presently coming short in providing irrigation to d farmers who badly need it during this trying times of El Nino. d reason for dis was dat after d pepeng flooding, those managing d dam decided to lower d water level in preparation to more typhoons dat never came. thus, d present less ideal water level is preventing d dam to provide irrigation and adequate power generation, hence d rotating brownout...
i hope dis somehow enlightened you about dis "damn" matter - that is is not d dam dat is d problem but its management (or lack of it).
